Tunisia will have to wait till the final days of the 2018 World Cup qualifier in November to confirm a place in Russia.

A victory for Tunisia away against Guinea on Saturday was to seal the North African’s side at Russia 2018, but DR Congo’s 2-1 away win at Libya also means the final day will decide the lucky country.

In Saturday’s game against Guinea, Naby Keita put the West Africans ahead in the 37th minute, only for Yousesf Msakni’s hat-trick to come later and spoil the show for them.

Mohamed Amine Ben Amor is the other scorer as Tunisia beat Guinea 4-1.

But DR Congo also did well to beat Libya 2-1.

After a barren first half, Cedric Bakambu put DR Congo ahead in the 50th minute, but Elmutasem Al Musrati drew level 19 minutes later.

Wilfred Moke scored the winning goal to seal maximum points for DR Congo, and take them to 10 points.

Tunisia tops Group A on 13 points, three adrift of DR Congo, and any slip could see the North Africans miss out.
