Arsenal forward, Alex Iwobi is obviously one of the shining celebrities in Uyo.

He was among the Super Eagles players that drew the loudest ovation on arrival for training on Wednesday at the Practise Pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Iwobi, who scored his first Premier League goal of the season against Brighton, drew loud applause from the vociferous fans who were chanting his name; shouting 'Up Gunners, fresh boy!' as he alighted from the team bus.

Iwobi looked sharp and fit in Wednesday's session and could be rewarded with a starting role against Zambia on Saturday.

Observers say his pace and accuracy in front of goal could complement Chelsea winger - Victor Moses' work rate during the encounter.

Interestingly, Iwobi's first goal for the Super Eagles was against Zambia when Nigeria beat the Chipolopolo in Ndola 2-1.
