When the car was searched, seven bags of weed suspected to be Indian hemp (marijuana) were recovered from the two occupants.

The duo of 60-year-old Tajudeen Atanda, and 31-year-old Rasheed Kehinde carefully hid the marijuana to avoid being seized by security operatives.

The suspects were arrested by the team at Ghetto waterside, Marwa, Lekki Phase one, and are currently undergoing interrogation at Maroko Police station.

Both men have confessed to the crime stating that the weed, believed to be Indian hemp was meant for consumers in the state, by mainly youths.
