The long arm of the law has caught with up two men who deal in fake naira notes.
The suspects Sani Ibrahim aka Orji and Ya’u Bello said they were moving the money from Taraba to Gombe to make a delivery for one Alhaji Ibrahim.
"We sell the fake currency to one Alhaji Ibrahim who buys a wrapper of N100,000 for N10,000," Yau Bello told Bounce News.
The commissioner of police Gombe state command CP Shina Olukolu who paraded the suspect told newsmen that credible information led the force Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS) of Gombe state command to the arrest of the syndicates.
The suspects were arrested during a stop and search operation around Billiri LGA in Gombe and the sum of N22.5m fake currency was found on them.
The police boss added that officers of the command smashed a motorcycle stealing gang.
He said 14 suspected stolen motorcycles were recovered in a single swoop around Bojude axis of Gombe state.
“I would want to advice people who thought they are buying cheap motorcycles and other items that they could be penny wise and pound foolish", the Police commissioner said.WATCH BOUNCE WEEK ROUND WITH TONY AND HIS 'TWIN'
