Two people have lost their lives in separate accidents which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday at Owode –Ijako and Sapade, around roads linking Ogun state to Lagos.

The first accident which occurred at Owode-Ijako, beside Ifo involved a boxer motorcycle and a truck with registration number QS 291 AGL.

The truck driver, who was on high speed, hit the motorcycle from the back while the motorcycle (Okada) rider landed on the floor with his head and died immediately.

Having seen the consequence of speeding, the driver of the truck immediately accelerated and ran away but was apprehended at Sango where he took to his heels, abandoning the truck.

The second accident at Sapade in Isara-Remo involved a Hyundai car with two female passengers and a male driver who were heading out of the town.

The Hyundai car lost control and crashed into a parked truck causing the death of one of the female passengers.

Their bodies have been deposited at separate general hospitals at Ifo and Isara Remo in the state.
